Your premier high-flying
Zipline adventure awaits
Glide through untamed forest canopies
Feel the rush as you soar over one of the last untouched forested valleys along the Sabie River, right next to the world-renowned Kruger National Park.
Skyway Trails offers Mpumalanga’s longest aerial cable trail… A 1.2km flight through a lush, south-facing gorge bursting with Afromontane vegetation and rare plant species.
Your journey includes eight thrilling zipline sections, ranging from 70m to 230m. You stop at 10 elevated platforms for jaw-dropping views of forest floors, vibrant birdlife and ancient trees. Designed to top-notch civil engineering standards and accompanied by expert guides, this is adventure at its finest.
The Aerial Cable Trail is ideally situated on the northern side of the Sabie and, being predominantly south-facing, it is well protected from the northern sun. As a result, it remains relatively moist throughout the year. The valley forms a steep bowl that has preserved elements of true Afromontane forest and showcases various endangered plant species, including a rarely found orchid (Acampe praemorsa) – only the second record of its existence in Mpumalanga.
